The Yellow Brick Road

There is something in a walk that just consumes me. I will walk anywhere, I will walk with anyone, I'll go dog walking, I'll go walking on a date, I'll go walking to clear my mind, I'll go walking to get exercise (the least of the reasons to go though). I simply cant find the words to explain how beautiful the world seems to be when I go walking.

One of my moms stipulations during my most recent thanksgiving weekends was that we go for a nice afternoon walk, or there would be no turkey. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with my mom, sister, and are dog.

I still find each day too short for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read and all the friends I want to see. ~John Burroughs

Hee hee hee...Askim is the most wonderful dog - so ugly, which makes you love him even more.

Remember when there was no snow?

Yeah, walks are so refreshing and invigorating. I agree. People make fun of Red Deer, but it is the home of the nicest trail system I have ever experienced.
