THE GREAT GREEN GAS GUZZLER
THE HUMMER.
My parents own this beautiful beast and on more then one occasion I have been given the privilege to take it for a cruise. My parents were so trusting of me they even let me take it on a road trip once.
This happens to be one of my favorite pictures of the HUMMER. We went to check out 'The Frank Slide' and everything just came together for the picture. The sun perfectly hit the side mirror, and the orientation of the rocks made it look as if we were off roading.
My first big road trip with the HUMMER was to the Crows Nest Pass. I had a personal sense of euphoria from just packing the back with all our sleeping bags. I was soo glad to share this weekend with my friends.

I must add that this video was shot without my knowledge, and I make no apologies for MY singing. Road trip singing just isn't meant to be good.
This last Christmas my family went to Vancouver, its a long drive (go figure). So me, my mom and my dad all took turns driving, we did the whole drive in one day. I didn't actually drive in the mountains, (thank-goodness) I drove from Rockey Mountain House on Highway 93 south to somewhere right before the mountains. When the snow started to appear my mom and I switched spots.
I have comfortably driven the HUMMER around Red Deer were my parents live, but when it was asked if I would be willing to drive it in Vancouver I definitely hesitated. My cousins and I had planned on a winter picnic and the only way were going to make it to the park is if I drove. So I stepped up and drove. The car alarm left me a little embarrased in the parking lot.

Its only the beginning, I will take more pictures, I will take more drives, I will have more embarrassing moments.

Ha ha Mr. Glover! I was just going to write about the bag-head costume you gave me to wear. Despite the fact that the thing guzzles gas like crazy, we have had a lot of fun times with the hummer.
