FASHION FRIDAYS
(The retail and lab girls; Farah, Jen, Heather, & Eferlina)Thats definitely the definition of kool. Welcome to my Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays, I work part time causal at Lenscrafters with some pretty stellar people, which makes up for the sometimes mundane of the job.

Its simple, I make glasses. I have been with Lenscrafters for over two years now as a Lab technician. They keep all us techs locked up behind a thick glass, and if you have ever come to visit me at the store you would probably now why. The lab staff are an eclectic group, we are recognizable for our poor dance qualities and are off tune singing. No smart customer would approach the store if they could hear us.
Some of the staff have some notable dance moves too. My General manager is a pro at the caterpillar. My lab manager is skilled at the running man, he has tried to pass the skill onto me, but I always manage to botch it.
(the morning huddle)With all the dancing and singing we do you probably believe we don't do any work. Thats a mistaken judgment, we are actually a very busy store with a lot of hard working staff.
It usually happens even before the store opens up, the phone starts to ring, and never stops.
On particularly busy Saturdays the lab staff have to have a snack staff in the back because we don't have time to run back and grab a drink of water, or coffee, or juice or my personal favorite CHOCOLATE.
Fridays are Fashion Fridays, the staff break out of there confining black attire and can wear just about anything they like (no jeans or open toed shoes). This lets the staff really express there unique tastes in design. The last few Saturdays and Sundays have been beach days, the staff is allowed to wear shorts and sandles. The first time we did this it was kinda funny, my General Manager looked like he was on vacation in Florida.

Thanx Anna,
Now I have a much better visual of ur Friday nights and Saturdays.
I guess you are going to have to go "one" step further and display your 'other job' environment, if that's allowed.

I think you need to update your blog.
